  • [Usage period] RAKUTEN's prepaid SIM card can be used for one year from the date of purchase. It can be used in Japan and overseas, and a monthly data capacity of [3GB + 1GB] (within the Rakuten line area) is provided for one year. After one year, you can extend the SIM card and continue to use it. It supports SMS authentication, and you can easily register applications such as LINE and Skype.
  • [Connect to RAKUTEN line] This SIM card can be used with up to 3GB of 5G/4G-LTE high-speed data capacity in the Rakuten line area within the validity period. On the other hand, in the partner line area, you can use up to 1GB. You can check the Rakuten line area and partner line area on the Rakuten official website. When the specified monthly capacity is used up, the communication speed will be reduced to 200kbps. High-speed data communication capacity is automatically reset on the 1st of every month.
  • [Can be used overseas] This SIM card can be used not only in Japan but also overseas, up to 1.5GB. As of now (March 2023), it is available in the specified 69 countries and regions.   • [Model compatibility/SIM size] A SIM-free/unlocked device is required. For iOS, iPhone 6S to 14ProMax are supported, but iOS version 14.5 or later is required.
